Want to contribute to Fiction Five Hundred? Awesome. Before you submit anything, read over these guidelines:
- The story must be fictional, and no longer than 500 words, excluding the title. No exceptions. Please note that any submissions exceeding the 500 word limit will be refused.
- Your story can be about anything you'd like, however any stories containing excessive profanity or derogatory remarks pertaining to gender, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation will be refused. This will be decided at the Site Manager's discretion.
- All stories, unless they violate the site's content policy as listed above, or those stories deemed unfit for publication for any other reason (as decided by the Site Manager) will be published.
- You are responsible for your own content. That means that you should thoroughly proofread your story before submitting, checking for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Any mistakes found after your story has been published on this site will not be fixed.
- You will be notified via e-mail when your story will be published. You will be given the date and time at which your story will be published on this site, so you can notify friends and/or family about it. The posting schedule is three stories per week. If you have not received an e-mail with your posting date seven (7) days after you submitted, please contact me directly at fictionfivehundred@gmail.com.
